Making of a Pizza: Hot-favorite all across United States
The mouth-watering dish, pizza, was basically originated in Italy but now the dish is popular all across the world so much that several changes have been made to the recipe in order to give it different taste flavor and style. People of all ages love to eat pizza and therefore pizza stores is a common a sight at every nook and corner.
Pizza is a hot-favorite all across United States and there are several styles of pizza available for the people residing in different cities of US like Manhattan Style pizza, New York Style pizza, Texas style pizza, Boston style pizza and Chicago style pizza etc.
Chicago Style pizza is a delicious deep-dish style which is originated in Chicago. This pizza has a heavy crust made up of butter which is about three inches in thickness at the edge. It has a large bowl made up of cheese and thick tomato sauce. It sometimes called stuffed pizza.
In Chicago mostly people are served with pizzas having thin crust but the typical Chicago style pizza is deep-dish and it does not have thin crust not it has delicate toppings. It is made up of heavy crust along with large amount of cheese and tomato sauce.
To make pizza, a thick layer of dough is to be made with olive oil along with cornmeal. This is then put into a deep round pan and then baked before the toppings are to be added. The crust has to be fried properly from outside before it could be covered with mozzarella cheese. For the non-vegetarian people meat or chicken can be added otherwise one can add mushrooms, capsicums etc. Finally, tomato sauce is added.
Stuffed pizza is famous in several cities of United States. They are relatively taller than deep-dish pizza but the difference can only be found when one cuts it. Stuffed pizzas are higher because it contains extra toppings than any other pizza. In a deep dish pizza only a thin layer of dough is given the shape of bowl in which toppings of cheese are added after that an extra layer of dough is put on the top of the pizza.
Sometimes a small hole is done at the top of the lid so that air and steam can escape out and also that the sauce can seep through it. Generally, tomato sauce was spread over the pizza, when it is baked.
